Designed by George Washburn, this red-brick with limestone trim Romanesque Revival structure was completed in 1898. The restored courtroom is the interior highlight with its high ceiling and beautiful oak woodwork. Throughout, the stained glass, ornate wood, and stonework accent one of the best renovated courthouses in the state. Enter on the east side through security (no cell phones allowed). (NRHP)
