Local ranchers Kaden and Emily Rausch set out to sell their own meat—along with products from other local producers—but even more importantly, to create a grocery store that could serve as the heart of their community. In a town of just 180 people, their store is the go-to spot for groceries, fresh produce, an in-store café, freezer-ready take-and-bake meals, and, most importantly, connection.
After taking over from the Ladows upon their retirement, the Rausch's have worked tirelessly to meet the town’s needs. And when visitors stop in to shop, it’s a welcome boost to the bottom line.
