OREGON-CALIFORNIA TRAIL

Lone Elm Park

Olathe, KS | Johnson County

Beginning in 1821 travelers on the Santa Fe Trail, and later on the Oregon-California Trail, used this spot as a campground and rendezvous point. It's been transformed into a beautiful park with a shelter house, interpretive kiosks, a natural prairie, walking trail, and soccer and softball complexes.
