
The Kickapoo Nation Indian Reservation is the second largest reservation in the state. With more than 1,600 members of the Kickapoo tribe in Kansas, half still live on the reservation assigned to them in the treaty of 1854. The Sac and Fox tribe and the Iowa tribe also have reservations in Brown County.
