From Railroad, ¾ mile south on Parsons (becomes Temple), then 2¾ miles east on 205. Two-foot-thick walls and arched window heads and entryway are features of this durable 1861 barn, likely the oldest extant structure in the county. It was built to house horses and mules on the first floor, grain and hay on the second, and seed on the third. It is now owned by the Dennis Tietjens family, who invites you to come in and take a look.
