This giant in the barbecue world started in 1990 when Jeff and Joy Stehney entered a barbecue contest and won. And they kept winning. In 1996 they opened the first of their three restaurants inside a former gas station. As word spread of their remarkably succulent barbecue, lines began forming out the door for the ribs and everything else, and it hasn't stopped since.
