Irrigation Ales

Courtland, KS | Republic County

Luke and Jennifer Mahin opened Irrigation Ales in 2022, and it has quickly become a community anchor in Courtland, population 290. The beer is brewed in retrofitted dairy tanks, and a wall-sized map of the surface irrigation district—its namesake—adds local context. Food trucks often park outside, while inside you’ll find charcuterie boards, snacks, Kansas wine, cider, and kombucha. Trivia nights, live music, and a cozy atmosphere make it a favorite gathering spot.
