In the block east of the Miners' Memorial the handsome brick Pritchett Pavilion graces the site where the old Europe Hotel and Frisco depot once stood. In the late 1800s and early 1900s these facilities received new immigrant families who came to work in the coal fields. Plaques on the pavilion are inscribed with stories of these families and the difference they have made in the area. A nearby mural depicts the old hotel and depot.
