HITCHING POST

Historic Hitching Rail

Dexter, KS | Cowley County

The old hitching rail still stands alongside the corner bank at Main and Central. The Dalton Gang robbed this bank in 1892β€”the gang's last successful robbery, occurring the day before the Daltons' fateful bank holdup in Coffeyville.
