Goodland, KS | Sherman County

The feature exhibit is the full-sized replica of America's first patented helicopter, invented in Goodland by W.J. Purvis and C.A. Wilson in 1909. Push a button and its wings go in motion! A good place to start your exploration of Sherman County, this museum displays local history and present-day agriculture, and tells the story of the Dust Bowl era.
