A tall white stone marks the grave of Seth Hays. At his insistence, his servant (a former slave), Sarah Taylor, was buried in his lot rather than in the segregated section for blacks. To find the Hays marker, from the small building inside the cemetery entrance, go east (right) at the next crossroads.
