Greenwood Cattle

From April to October Greenwood County pastures are filled with about 120,000 stocker cattle that come from all over the country to graze on the prairie's lush green grasses for about 90 days. Additionally, some 22,000 in cow herds are grazed year round and supplemented with hay and feed during the winter.
