Thanks go to the Lebanon Hub Club for erecting the marker in 1940. Notice the nearby abandoned motel behind the park. Built pre I-70, the motel succumbed to new traffic patterns created by the interstate in the 1960s. Like many businesses along this route, a dream became an abandoned relic.
