A room in the public library honors Frank Carlson, former Kansas governor, U.S. congressman, and U.S. senator. Political cartoons, mementos, stained glass windows, and information provide a snapshot of Carlson's life during the 1950s and 1960s, and his elephant collection is a reminder of his Republican Party affiliation.
