Iola created something magical in the flood plain of Elm Creek. The town removed trees and brush and replaced them with one of the most functional and beautiful community gardens in the state. Birdhouses, antique farm equipment, raised plots, tool sheds, recycle areas, and clever gardening practices make Elm Creek Community Garden a must stop.
