COURTHOUSE

Ellis County Courthouse

Hays, KS | Ellis County

This native limestone courthouse is a 1942 WPA project. "Justice and Equality: An Evolving Legacy," a 2002 Kris Kuksi acrylic mural, hangs behind the judge's bench in the courtroom. Near the courthouse a veteran's memorial at 13th and Fort honors the Ellis County soldiers who gave their lives while serving our country.
