Edwin Smith House

This pink stucco home makes you wonder if an architect from Miami's South Beach invaded the Kansas plains. Built in 1935, the Pink House, as it is known, was designed in the attractive Spanish Eclectic style, rarely seen in the Midwest. Edwin Smith, son of a town founder, expanded his father's business into a mercantile empire. Drive by only. (NRHP)
