Between 7th and 9th on Washington, downtown offers a stretch of restored limestone and brick buildings (NRHP), many designed with wide transoms and outstanding cornices. Limestone churches, the handsome firehouse, and the municipal building are but a few of the town's bevy of vintage structures. Kiosks in each block provide photos and histories of these buildings.
