This hugely popular scratch diner is named for Wichita's famed moniker (origin unknown). On the sweeter side, try the banana bread French toast topped with a mixture of candied apples, pecans, and apple butter. On the serious side is the Beefy Doo-dad (German style beef, cabbage and onion mix, mashed potatoes, and mushroom gravy drizzled with horseradish sauce). Guaranteed to make your taste buds sit up and take notice.
