The former Ottawa High School (NRHP) and Junior High School (NRHP), 526 and 506 S. Main, respectively, are examples of the Collegiate Gothic Revival style. The 1917 high school was designed by George P. Washburn & Son and the 1927 junior high by Washburn and Stookey.
