HISTORIC SCHOOL

Clyde School

Construction on Clyde School began in 1917 and was completed in 1924. The school was designed by Wichita-based architect Lorentz Schmidt. Schmidt, who was born and raised in Clyde, became widely known for public school design. (NRHP) It has been remodeled for apartment living.
