Clutter Memorial

In 2009 the town dedicated its park to the memory of the Herb and Bonnie Clutter family. The monument with a plaque about the family and the 1959 tragedy stands on the park's north end. The murder of this family was later memorialized in Truman Capote's In Cold Blood.
