HISTORY

Clearwater Historic Windmill

Clearwater, KS | Sedgwick County

An 1890 windmill once used as a watering station for settlers' horses now proudly stands in the park. Signage tells you that after operating on a nearby farm for more than 90 years, the windmill was refurbished and erected here as a symbol of the area's clear water.
