A colorful Marion Bryant historical mural of Caney's early years preps you for your visit through area history. The museum complex includes a doctor's office and an 1871 one-room schoolhouse (above the entrance is printed "Knowledge is Power"). A historical marker notes that Caney's streets, laid in 1907, were constructed with bricks produced in the town's brick plants.
