PRISONER OF WAR (POW)

Camp Concordia WWII Guardhouse

Concordia, KS | Cloud County

The most complete remnant of the POW camp is the restored limestone guardhouse. The base of the camp water tower is visible in the field to the north, and just east of the guardhouse are the camp's stone entrance pillars and wall. The small white house north of the entrance was the main gate guard post.
