It's called the Woodyard because this is where all the barbecue places bought their wood—and you can still buy six kinds of wood here. It's also called one of the best places for barbecue in Kansas City. It's famous for its smokehouse meats, but the chili has a huge following too. Lots of kitschy signs, lots of seating, lots of good barbecue.
