Features include the Fallen Soldier Memorial to Sergeant Bernie Deghand killed in action in 2006. A brick walkway leading to the memorial honors those from the community who died in wars from the Civil War to the present. In a separate area a cannon dedicated to the soldiers and sailors of the Civil War stands beside a delightful water garden pool filled with goldfish and lilies. Elsewhere on the grounds is an 1880 horse watering trough accompanied by a historic hand pump.
