Old Depot Museum

Ottawa, KS | Franklin County

County history is well displayed inside this restored 1888 two-story limestone Santa Fe depot. Learn about Silkville, Bleeding Kansas, the early chautauquas at historic Forest Park, and the 1951 flood. A favorite and humorous exhibit is of Ottawa photographer William "Dad" Martin whose trick photography portrays larger-than-life scenes by superimposing images of people, produce, and animals.
