Ancient animals come to life inside the Sternberg. Venture into the walk-through diorama depicting life more than 70 million years ago. You'll be amazed by the life-sized, robotic dinosaurs, various plant eaters, and huge flying reptiles in a subtropical environment. Then walk down into the sea that once covered Kansas and discover prehistoric marine animals. The most photographed fossil in the world is on display here—the Fish-Within-a-Fish—excavated by George F. Sternberg in 1952 in Gove County. Admission charge. (8 Wonders of Kansas Geography finalist)
