The Wichita County Historical Society took on a large and commendable project restoring the 1892 Victorian home originally owned by prominent Leoti attorney William Washington and his wife, Julia. The house turned out to be a treasure and now exhibits period furnishings and clothing including a large collection of ladies' hats. (NRHP) Call ahead.
