One of the cleanest rest stops in the state is at Alexander. Take a break, stretch your legs, and meander over to the old windmill and water pump and take a closer look at these icons of the prairie. Near the restrooms a historic marker relates the story of the old Fort Hays-Fort Dodge Road.
