The name comes from a saying Sam’s dad often used when asked how he was doing: “Finer than a frog hair.” Though he has since passed, Sam opened the restaurant in 2020 to honor his memory. In this town of just 160 people, visitors are warmly welcomed into the metal shed—with its corrugated tin ceiling and bar front—for burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, salads, wraps, and beer.
