A tribute to Russian Mennonite pioneers who settled the area in 1874, the complex displays countless artifacts in a replicated immigrant house and barn (combined as one unit), and two authentic farmhouses, a bank, and two schools. In season the heritage flower and vegetable gardens are beautiful sights. A full-sized wheat straw replica of the Liberty Bell is in the Turkey Red Wheat Palace along with P.H. Friesen's murals and a large array of farm equipment. An excellent gift shop sells Mennonite heritage gifts such as the Dutch Blitz game. Admission charge.
