Rock Sculpture
From Washington, just east on 2nd. According to a local historian, an early settler made this one-of-a-kind pillar/sculpture from limestone, Dakota sandstone, bricks, and septarian (veiny) rocks, all of which are melded together with mortar. If you look closely you can see remnants of colored glass that were once another prominent feature. Scheduled to be destroyed, Alvin Baral saved it and moved it from a nearby church to his yard.
