Mennonite Settlement Museum
The Peter Paul Loewen House (NRHP) is the last remaining Mennonite style Russian clay-brick house-barn in North America. It is now a museum focusing on the early lifestyle of Russian and Polish Mennonites and their 1870s settlement in Kansas. The complex includes a replica 1876 Jacob Friesen windmill, the original of which stood at the Gnadenau settlement. Admission charge. Call ahead to make an appointment.
