Indian Pay Station

111 E. Mission. Potawatomi Indians came to this building from 1857 to 1870 to collect the meager allotments they were promised when settling on the reservation. The station is one of the oldest buildings in the state. Displays inside two nearby structures interpret the history of St. Marys, from the founding of the mission through the early settlement period. Memorial Day-Labor Day, daily 1-4 p.m. (NRHP)
