Great War Memorial
Huebner and E. This vicinity was home to Camp Funston, a vast training facility where more than 50,000 men prepared to serve in WWI. The memorial, erected immediately after Armistice Day in 1918, honors those “who trained at Camp Funston for the Great War 1917-1919.”
