First Territorial Capitol State Historic Site
693 Huebner. Interpretive exhibits inside the limestone structure explain the building’s many uses during the past century and a half. Originally used as a warehouse, it was hardly completed when it served as the first territorial capitol of Kansas and briefly housed the 1855 “bogus” legislature.
