Dane G. Hansen Museum
110 W. Main. A beautifully landscaped Memorial Plaza surrounds the museum of the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, which has brought new cultural and social experiences to Kansans since 1972. You're introduced to entrepreneur Hansen through exhibits about his life and his family's immigration from Denmark. The facility is well known for its diverse and high-quality art from around the world. One of the most popular permanent exhibits is Syl Sijan, the security guard! You can find out why when you come in and meet Syl and visit the excellent displays under his watchful eye.
