Antelope Lake Park

Morland, KS

Antelope Lake Park

From K-85, 2¼ miles west on U.S. 24, then 1 mile north on 125. Built in the 1930s as a WPA project, this fishing lake is a popular walking spot among townsfolk. A WPA Pratt truss bridge with a wood plank floor crosses the spring-fed Antelope Creek on the west side of the lake. All stone outhouses and shelters, built as part of the National Youth Administration program, are constructed from a green rock unique to this county. (NRHP)
