From Woodbine, 1 mile east on K-209, then north on Wolf Road (½ mile west of U.S. 77). The 7-mile drive north on Wolf Road takes you on a scenic winding route. At the 5-mile marker, in an area known as Lyona (at the Dickinson and Geary County line), you'll see a lovely stone church. Built in 1871, it was the first church organized (1859) in the United Methodist Kansas West Conference. In Geary County, Wolf Road becomes Lyon Creek Road. Follow it north past a stone barn and house to a 1925 Marsh rainbow single-arch bridge. From there, choose any road that meets your fancy. Roads named for creeks are the best bet for a picturesque drive.
