Stone Arch Bridge and Trail

Strong City, KS | Chase County

Fox Creek Bridge (NRHP) is a beautiful 1898 double-arch bridge in the wooded creek section of the Community Connection Trail, a biking and walking trail that connects Strong City with the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. The trail runs from the depot, ¼ mile north on Cottonwood, 3 blocks west on 6th, ¼ mile north on Pine under the U.S. 50 overpass, then ¼ mile west on 227 to the bridge. From here you can continue to the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Bottomland Trail.
