With its quality exhibits, the museum preserves the history of Riley County from 1855 to the present and the story of Kansas State University. Behind the museum is the unique Hartford House, an 1855 prefabricated home brought to Manhattan by early settlers on the steamboat Hartford. Ask for a brochure of the self-guided architectural and historical driving tour.
