Pho Hoa opened in 1987 and has garnered legions of fans. One of the menu favorites is #38 (Bun Thit Nuong), a big bowl of steaming rice noodles topped with succulent grilled pork and sprinkled with peanuts. Pho, Vietnamese rice noodle soup, is extra delicious because owner and chef Ha Nguyen makes her broth using beef bones. Everything is made to order so preparation may take more time, but it's worth the wait! Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4:30-7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (One of the 8 Wonders of Kansas Cuisine finalists.)
