Peabody, KS | Marion County

Stroll down Walnut between 1st and Division and take a close look at these 1880s buildings, most of them limestone. One particularly stunning structure is the 1919 former Berns-Sunflower Theatre (NRHP) at 114 N. Walnut. Note the sunflowers and the beautiful terra cotta and clay tile, typical features of the Beaux Arts style. (NRHP)
