Olsburg Cemetery

Olsburg, KS | Pottawatomie County

This Swedish cemetery was relocated here in 1959 due to construction of Tuttle Creek Lake. Gravestone inscriptions reveal that some of the interred were born in Sweden. Red glacial stones form solid entrance pillars topped with upright and sharply pointed rocks. These present a decorative touch and prevent anything (man, beast, or bird) from sitting on them!
