The Flint Hills Nature Trail is longest rail-trail in Kansas is 118 miles and runs through one of the last remaining tallgrass prairie ecosystems in the world and starts in Osawatomieβ€”Mile Zero. This fact is celebrated through signage and a kiosk at the trailhead, 1400 South and a sculptural bicycle rack in front of the John Brown Mural at 5th and Main.
