King Memorial Park

The plaque on the shelter house tells you that the park is a memorial to Raymond and Yvonne King who died October 2, 1970, in the airplane crash that killed members of the Wichita State University football team. This beautiful park, complete with splash pad and playground, is a fitting tribute to the Kings, longtime supporters of the Hesston community.
