Just southeast of the park entrance, along the street, four limestone carvings by David Chapman honor the Walnut Valley Festival. Plaques on the stone entrance recount this park's Chautauqua history from 1887 to 1913. Note the man-made waterfall on the west side of the park and the playground on the east. Do watch out for geese and ducks as you drive around.
Live music (free) comes to everyone—including the ducks—at the spring and summer Duck Jam in the Park concerts.
