Several 1930s WPA buildings (including a bathhouse, shelter houses, and original community building) mix with new buildings to grace the beautifully wooded park near the Neosho River. Vintage playground equipment provides old-time fun, and a mural on the new community building adds color. From the west side of the park it's an easy walk down the embankment for a close-up view of the river, or take a longer walk on the Sunflower Rail Trail.
